Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise [Racing] and Garden Review

Yes I realize Viva Pinata is a game for younger children, but I thought I might as well review it because I once played this, and actually I enjoyed it. For a short while of course. It gets kind of repetitive for both games. You can get this bundle for about 5.00 - 10.00 USD.




Graphics:
Garden Pinata has better graphics than Racing Pinata but of course Racing Pinata is not a first person game, they're both quite old so props to them.

Gameplay:
Both games are very repetitive.

Characters:
Both games give a very large supply of characters. Garden has a bit more I think.

Difficulty:
Garden is easy to get use to, and it's more of a casual game. Racing really depends on your difficulty mode, but it gets quite difficult at times.

Multiplayer:
In Garden Pinata you can only visit other gardens, Racing Pinata is much easier, you can play tournaments and arcade games, etc very easy to use.

Overall:
These games were one of the first official games I've ever played, they kept me busy for hours, so if you have younger kids this might entertain them for a while. Nothing really exciting if you're an action type of gamer. Basically like Pac-Man only not as fun.

Game of the week

Skyrim


Other than the beeeeeeeaaaaautiful graphics and the amazing gameplay. Skyrim has everything from buying houses to buying horses to marriage! You get to pick your own conversation which is why I love Bethesda {they do it in all of their games}. 


Now back to the graphics(; . The only reason I don't go outside is because of this game, the graphics are just unreal. There might be other reasons why I don't go outside, but you would totally understand if you saw all of the mountains and the delicate snow lightly falling on the ground. Oh my goodness it just takes your breath away. Point a fan at your face, stand at the top of a snowy Skyrim mountain, and you'll feel amazing. SO PURE.

The thing that saddens everyone is that you can't kill children, but THAT'S WHY THEY HAVE MODS. I just love mods, they make games better.  The game doesn't even start off slow, you're about to be beheaded! You can even customize your house, you can throw things everywhere, IT'S YOUR HOUSE. WHO CARES?

The dragons are also just beautiful. The nice dragon scared me one time, I tried to hit him until I finally realized that he's a friend. ;-;


If you'll please give me one or two reasons why you don't like this game I'll take it into consideration, but chances are I've already fallen in love with it.

Fable 3 Game Review

Fable 3 is one of the most addictive games I've ever played. Of course it's like Fable 2 but they did the opposite thing in this game. In Fable 2 you're a poor orphan who lives with your sister, you have to buy a musical box. In Fable 3 you're a rich orphan you live with your evil brother in a castle, later in the game you have to find your mothers musical box. I absolutely love how the possibilities are endless in both game.




Graphics:
AMAZING. I just looovee the cartoon feel of it. The colors are very very vibrant, I look for that in every game.


Rating: 8/10




Gameplay:
The most addictive game I've ever played! Extremely fun! I finished it within the first 2 days I had it, and I'm working on my 2nd time. What bums me the most about Fable games is that they're all depressing. {But that's how life is, I guess}

Characters:
The villagers look the same and they're short. So if you play as a woman prepare for short blue villager men. Walter and Elliot are my favorittee characters the voice actors make it sound so real.

The only hard part is fighting the wolves.  Other than that it's still kind of a challenge, not too easy breezy, but not as hard as that part.

Multiplayer:
You couldn't ask for anything better.

Overall:
I love this game, it keeps you busy for hours at a time. Super addictive, which is bad if you don't have your game system for a while. I would suggest this to a friend. TIP: SAVE UP YOUR GOLD, BUY HOUSES, AND SHOPS. ASAP.

Portal Game Review

Portal was the first game I bought on "Steam". It is in my top 5 favorite games, and I've had it for a little less than 6th months. This game is a classic and it instantly won me over.


Graphics:
Since this game is a bit old, the graphics aren't going to be the best. It's a 3D first person puzzle game and they spent more time working on the puzzles than the graphics. Graphics don't usually bother me so I probably shouldn't be the first person you ask.


Rating: 7/10




Characters:
Cheryl, and GlaDOS. Cheryl is your character she was modeled after the voice actress Alésia Glidewell. She/You are the test subject, and in order to get out you must complete all of the puzzles. GlaDOS is your watcher and she records all of the data for the puzzles you complete. Throughout the game GlaDOS keeps telling you if you finish the puzzles you will be released and there will be cake. Around level 16 there's a secret spot and it says the cake is a lie about 5 times. You can tell it's from another testee.

Rating: 9/10




Story line: 
I kind of explained the story line in the Cheryl part of the review. Basically you're a person who has been captured [I believe] and to be released you must complete all of the tests. If you fail, you die. If you win GlaDOS keeps telling you there will be cake. But around puzzle 16 it tells you otherwise. 


Rating: 9/10










Overall Rating: 8/10
Would I recommend this?: If it were to come up into a conversation. Casually? Maybe.

5. Call of Duty: Black Ops
I honestly have no idea why people say they hate this game! I personally love it. You're allowed more customization than any other CoD game I've ever played. It's very easy to tell your teammates from your enemies, and also easy to tell whether you're winning or not. Tell me why you hate it. The only things I don't like are the constant lag, and the screaming children. Only one game have I played with a screaming child, and let me tell you...

4. Tekken
Ahhh yes. Tekken, this game took up most of my summer during 4th and 5th grade. I believe it was Tekken 4, I could not get enough. My friends eventually took it away from me and I had major withdrawal. I personally like this game way more than I like Mortal Kombat. I remember the easy controls and the beautiful designs, the only problem I've had with this game was the menu not working some of the time.

3. Earthbound
Thanks to my friend I use to play this game everyday! I liked the setting, buttttt the story starts off really slow, and it takes forever to get places. I do like it. But it's definitely not my favorite game.

2. Team Fortress 2
Played for about 2 weeks on  my crappy laptop, but it was very enjoyable. I liked the hats! The whole community is really nice. The gameplay was bawwws, also the artwork looked like Clay to me so I really liked that. The only thing I didn't like was Steam [the thing it runs with] it re downloaded it like every day. I did really like it though. Perhaps if I had more hats, and a better laptop.
