Tropico 4 Game Review! ~

I got this game from Target for like 30.00 USD. It's not a bad game, but 30.00 is quite a lot for a computer game. I looked on the back, and the childish cartoons are what got me to actually buy it. I've always wanted to own an island, filled with crooks, and disease ~ I WANT MOAR.

Graphics;
Not bad, not bad. Low quality is awesome too. It's like a cross between "The Sims 3", and "Sim City", the people look the same, but it's not a big deal.

Rating: 7/10

Gameplay;
Ughhh, the repetitive buying, and building, etc. I wish we could just buy a place, and upgrade from there. Fadkfjkshdfkjhasd it's like Fish Tycoon minus 201203908210948091.

Rating: 6/10

Characters;
Le people, always look le same. But they let you create your own President. (;
My President is totes hot.

Rating; 6/10

Difficulty;
Eh, if you're like "lolwatamIdoing?" you will get nothing, and you'll start flipping tables and chairs and things. They also don't explain the controls which is sad. :c i cri evr tim. But using cheats you're like invincible x203045325

Rating: 7/10

Quests;
Campaign has like 20 main levels, and they're all really longgg (if you don't use cheats). I've only finished the first one, and than I got bored and played sandbox for an hour.

Rating: 6/10

Overall;
It twas' okay.... Hmm. Just say it was, "Black Friday" or something, this is not one of those games where you literally run over people just to see it. It's more of a casual thing like, "Oh hey, I heard that game was alright... wanna go get a smoothie?" Just a conversation starter. No biggie.
Rating: 6 or 7/10

A lovely day at a Tropican beach. ~

Disclaimer ~

This just came to my attention.

I just want to clear this up. ~ All of the pictures I use in my reviews are NOT mine {unless clearly stated}. I usually find them off of google, or they're drawn by my friend {hopefully team member soon}. I figured since everyone {very stupid Congress members} is/are getting butt hurt about copyright and such, I might as well make a post concerning where I got all of my images from. That will be up hopefully by Friday.

Now here's the weeks schedule~

Wednesday - Crackdown 1 Review
Thursday    - Tekken 6 Review
Friday         - Disclaimer Day
Saturday     - Hopefully a post from Book.

Rusty Spoons

Hi guys, I really don't have many followers, but that's okay. I'm not much for advertising. I'd just like to ask you a few questions. { Those who come on a regular basis, no pun intended }

Mainly this is just the schedule mishap, I plan on posting 3-5 days a week. But, what would you guys like to see? More technology? More reviews? More top 5's? A separate blog with other languages? c:

I'm thinking of doing a top five every two months or so. I've just been doing game reviews which can get boring.

Mondays and/or Tuesdays: Game Reviews

Wednesdays and/or Thursdays: Technology updates

Fridays and/or Saturdays: Viewers choice. {You'd have to tell me a week before~}

Do you guys like it, or could there be improvements?

Post your ideas in the comments... please....

Left 4 Dead 1: Game Review

Surprisingly enough I actually bought this game after I got Left 4 Dead 2, I just loved that game so much, I wanted to look at the back story, I love both games unconditionally.

Gameplay:
Not as repetitive as you might think, of course the 4 maps stay the same, but the zombies and special infected are randomly placed. As I said before I love this game, there could be some improvements such as a clearer beginning, it starts off really fast pitch.

Rating: 8/10

Graphics:
Once you switch from a newer game to an older one, you notice things more easily, this game has a minor problem, and it's nothing you can't get use to. The hands on the guns look really deformed. That's actually about it though. Nothing really big like, glitches, and things like that.

Rating: 8/10

Characters:
There are 4 main characters (Zoey, Francis, Bill, and Louis) and some side characters (Whitaker and the other people that help you to safety.) This is the only game I'm glad they don't have character customization added into, mainly because these characters have a background, a story, and your character wouldn't really have one.

Rating: 8, 9/10

Difficulty:
I suggest playing on normal, but if you're just starting it's okay to play on easy ~ ♥
Normal is perfect for realism and a challenge.

Rating: 8, 9/10

Quests/Missions/Story:
They give you 4 maps to start on, you can of course purchase more, I think they're usually free if you play on Steam though. There's nothing wrong with the first 4 maps. It's a different story in every one.

Rating: 8, 9/10

Overall:
There could be minor improvements but actually not many sooooo.....

9/10~ (;

New Blog?

How do you like? To complicated? Or perfect? I have a couple of banner problems to work out with Brooke. That's about it. Normal posting schedule should be starting again soon. So post any questions or concerns on the facebook page, or just comment, even email us! Hopefully I'll get hang of the slider soon, there's a little off positioning problems, but nothing I can't fix... hopefully... I'll be posting more technology, if you guys like that more? I'll be needing more viewers opinion though. Thanks for your cooperation through this awkward stage~

Updates fo' 2012.

This is kind of late into the year, but better late than never I guess.

Hopefully I can add polls, and a new layout, I'm not quite sure how Blogger works just yet. But I'm trying. I need new games to review, and I was hoping to do every month is a theme'd month. {Ex. October is Horror, so a horror game every week. December is Snow, so something involving snow}. Maybe some Point and Click games?

I need suggestive comments though. I'm running out of ideas.

Even if you don't comment though, I'm planning to add my friend to this account, and we can control it together, it would hopefully have many more posts.

That's about it, a new layout, theme'd months, Point and Click games, more suggestions.

Anymore updates will be posted here.

Saints Row The Third Review

I got Saints Row about Christmas time. I was super excited about it. It was about $50.00 at a local Game Stop, but you can get it for about $40.00 on amazon.

Graphics:
You can tell they took a long time on character creation, the cars, and the main buildings. The only think I hate is if you create a female character she looks very manly, and in the cut scenes she uses all of the male poses.

Rating: 8/10

Gameplay:
Very fun, and addictive. Not really much to say here. But I like how it's not mission after mission, you can just take breaks and drive around, stuff like that.

Rating: 9/10

Characters:
Shaundi got hot, I don't like it.

Other than that, there's a bunch of main characters, the character customization is amazing, so many options.

Rating: 8ish/10
[Mainly because of Shaundi.  ಠ_ಠ]

Multiplayer:
On the xbox you have to get a code to use multiplayer, I don't think that's necessary. I also lost mine before I could register it, but it looks fun with other players I guess. Tell me if you've had another experience with it.

Rating: ??/10

Quests/Missions:
You don't have to follow the main story line, you get lots of mini games. You can use your phone to look at all of the options. Never a dull moment. :p But sometimes my game doesn't let me choose a path, so it effects my gameplay a lot.

Rating: 9/10

Difficulty: [Highlight for Spoilers]
The zombie mission is definitely the hardest.That's really the only one, you might have to redo one or two missions. A little harder than casual playing.

Rating: 8/10

Overall:
I don't think it deserves a 9/10. Mainly because of the manly cutscenes. YOU MUST FIX IT.

Sooooo.

Overall Rating: 8/10

Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise [Racing] and Garden Review

Yes I realize Viva Pinata is a game for younger children, but I thought I might as well review it because I once played this, and actually I enjoyed it. For a short while of course. It gets kind of repetitive for both games. You can get this bundle for about 5.00 - 10.00 USD.

Graphics:
Garden Pinata has better graphics than Racing Pinata but of course Racing Pinata is not a first person game, they're both quite old so props to them.

Racing Rating: 6/10
Garden Rating: 7/10

Gameplay:

Both games are very repetitive.

Racing Rating: 3/10
Garden Rating: 4/10

Characters:
Both games give a very large supply of characters. Garden has a bit more I think.

Racing Rating: 6/10
Garden Rating: 7/10

Difficulty:
Garden is easy to get use to, and it's more of a casual game. Racing really depends on your difficulty mode, but it gets quite difficult at times.

Racing Rating: 6/10
Garden Rating: 3/10

Multiplayer:
In Garden Pinata you can only visit other gardens, Racing Pinata is much easier, you can play tournaments and arcade games, etc very easy to use.

Racing Rating: 8/10
Garden Rating: 3/10

Overall:
These games were one of the first official games I've ever played, they kept me busy for hours, so if you have younger kids this might entertain them for a while. Nothing really exciting if you're an action type of gamer. Basically like Pac-Man only not as fun.

Racing Rating: 5/10
Garden Rating: 5/10

Game of the week

Skyrim

Other than the beeeeeeeaaaaautiful graphics and the amazing gameplay. Skyrim has everything from buying houses to buying horses to marriage! You get to pick your own conversation which is why I love Bethesda {they do it in all of their games}.

Now back to the graphics(; . The only reason I don't go outside is because of this game, the graphics are just unreal. There might be other reasons why I don't go outside, but you would totally understand if you saw all of the mountains and the delicate snow lightly falling on the ground. Oh my goodness it just takes your breath away. Point a fan at your face, stand at the top of a snowy Skyrim mountain, and you'll feel amazing. SO PURE.

The thing that saddens everyone is that you can't kill children, but THAT'S WHY THEY HAVE MODS. I just love mods, they make games better.  The game doesn't even start off slow, you're about to be beheaded! You can even customize your house, you can throw things everywhere, IT'S YOUR HOUSE. WHO CARES?

The dragons are also just beautiful. The nice dragon scared me one time, I tried to hit him until I finally realized that he's a friend. ;-;

If you'll please give me one or two reasons why you don't like this game I'll take it into consideration, but chances are I've already fallen in love with it.

THE WHOLE GAME LOOKS LIKE A BOB ROSS PAINTING.

Fable 3 Game Review

Fable 3 is one of the most addictive games I've ever played. Of course it's like Fable 2 but they did the opposite thing in this game. In Fable 2 you're a poor orphan who lives with your sister, you have to buy a musical box. In Fable 3 you're a rich orphan you live with your evil brother in a castle, later in the game you have to find your mothers musical box. I absolutely love how the possibilities are endless in both game.

Graphics:
AMAZING. I just looovee the cartoon feel of it. The colors are very very vibrant, I look for that in every game.

Rating: 8/10

Gameplay:
The most addictive game I've ever played! Extremely fun! I finished it within the first 2 days I had it, and I'm working on my 2nd time. What bums me the most about Fable games is that they're all depressing. {But that's how life is, I guess}

Rating: 8/10

Characters:
The villagers look the same and they're short. So if you play as a woman prepare for short blue villager men. Walter and Elliot are my favorittee characters the voice actors make it sound so real.

Rating: 8/10

Difficultly:                      {spoiler}
The only hard part is fighting the wolves.  Other than that it's still kind of a challenge, not too easy breezy, but not as hard as that part.

Rating: 9/10

Multiplayer:
You couldn't ask for anything better.

Rating: 10/10

Overall:
I love this game, it keeps you busy for hours at a time. Super addictive, which is bad if you don't have your game system for a while. I would suggest this to a friend. TIP: SAVE UP YOUR GOLD, BUY HOUSES, AND SHOPS. ASAP.

Rating: 8/10 or 9/10
